Dr Monnery joined the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre as a consultant in October 2018 and is Clinical Lead for Palliative and Supportive Care at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. Dr Monnery is also an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Liverpool and was named NHS England National Clinical Advisor for Enhanced Supportive Care in 2021 due to his work on developing clinical outcome measures from early palliative care interventions.
